EPD (Environmental
Product Declaration)
An independently verified document that provides transparent and objective information about a product’s environmental impact throughout its entire life cycle – from raw materials to end-of-life.
UAB “Skado medis” prepared and registered an EPD in 2024 for its prefabricated timber frame elements (view declaration).
This means that:
- A full Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of the product has been carried out;
- The environmental impact has been evaluated from raw materials to end-of-life;
- The data has been independently verified by third-party experts.
